We have limited availability for the 2026-27 school year. Please email admissions@greenehillschool.org for more information.
School Tours
Weekly tours will resume in the fall. If you are interested in applying to Greene Hill for the 2026-27 school year, please email admissions@greenehillschool.org so that we can arrange a time for you to visit our school.
Sliding Scale Tuition & Facts Management
Greene Hill is committed to economic diversity and our sliding scale tuition model is one of the ways in which we live our mission. Sliding scale tuition differs from a financial aid model in that every family may opt to participate and pay the tuition amount that is found to be most appropriate their household income and financial resources.
To participate in sliding scale tuition, your family must complete an application with Facts Management, a financial assessment organization.
Please note that we are unable to release admissions decisions until your Facts application has been completed and processed, which may take up to 3 weeks.
Child Visit and Parent Interview
Once we have received your application and supplemental materials, we will contact you to schedule a child visit. Child visits take place December through January. After the child visit is complete, you will be able to register for a parent meeting, the final step of our application process.
Decisions
Families are contacted about decisions in accordance with the Independent School Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) guidelines for admissions.
We take kids seriously.
At Greene Hill School we believe in and imagine the best for each child and promote learning through an interdisciplinary curriculum, appreciation of critical thinking and open-ended investigation of our neighborhood and beyond. Founded with the understanding that community is the backbone of society, Greene Hill School guides children to become dedicated members of a diverse, democratic society.
Our alumni report that GHS is where they discovered their passions, developed strong academic skills that prepared them for high school, found community, and learned that their voices are important.
