Admissions

Greene Hill School Student

We look forward to getting to know your family over the course of the admissions process and try to be as transparent and supportive during this journey for you and your child. Understanding that tuition is often a barrier to admission in independent schools, Greene Hill School has developed a sliding-scale so that families are paying for tuition in a more equal proportion with their income and finances.

Greene Hill School looks to follow the Independent School Admission Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) guidelines for admissions. Through our admissions process, we hope to fill classes with diverse groups of individuals. When constructing a class, we attempt to find a balance with regards to gender, but also take into consideration the interests and needs of each child as an individual as well as his/her ability to harmoniously participate with the group.

Preference will be given to residents of the local neighborhood. Special consideration will be given to siblings. Federal, State and City statutes prohibit discrimination on the basis of certain protected classifications. Greene Hill School supports and complies with such laws in providing equal opportunity and consideration to all employees, and to all applicants and their families.

Although the deadline for applications for the 2012-13 school year has passed, Greene Hill School may still be accepting applications on a rolling basis. Please contact the school at (718) 230-3608 if you are interested in applying for 2012-13.

Greene Hill School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies and other school administered programs.
